Shmuffex is miracle product!

Hello Barry Umberger here. Dara is my wife.
I will be glad to give you my thoughts. First I would like to thank Alexis for all her help and info.
We are doing the 1-2-3 process on our new ( to us) 2003 Achilles dinghy. I’m impressed with the Achilles brand. Their CSM / hypolon material with an extra layer of neoprene I believe. Very strong and all glued sections are totally intact. Our problem was mold impregnated into the material. The boat had been left outside, uncovered in a wooded area for at least 2 years. It started out white but appeared gray before cleaning. The first product was used to deep clean the material and did a very good job of cleaning the surface grime off. Next was the 2 product (Shmuffex) really impressed us. I do feel that the instructions good be improved in order to have better and more consistent results.
I think that working out of direct sun light will keep the product from drying too fast. I had to keep spraying more product to keep it from drying too fast. As a result I ran out of product before I could finish. The dinghy is 10’4” with 17 inch tubes. Has Shmuffex been developed to have the positive qualities of bleach without the negative aspects of harming hypolon? It sure acts like bleach and smells like bleach. Is it safe to use on a yearly basis without harming the material.
I will order another bottle to finish the mold removal before using the wax protecter.
I am spreading the word around my marina about the 3 part system for renewing and protecting dinghys.
