Want to extend the life of your RIB tubes and avoid replacing them? ORCA Retail has everything you need to repair, maintain or customize your RIB, whether you're a professional or a private customer. Our factory in Mouscron, Belgium produces hundreds of meters of Hypalon® neoprene fabric every day to meet the needs of RIB manufacturers (e.g. Zodiac, Bombard, BRIG, Highfield, Yamaha, Honda...) to protect and reinforce your bladders against tears, leaks and punctures.

PVC is a thermoplastic, while Hypalon Neoprene is a synthetic rubber.
PVC is a plastic material, easily industrialized with a low product cost, but which also entails some disadvantages compared to ORCA Hypalon.
It's true that Hypalon is slightly more expensive than PVC due to its raw material, but in the long term, this difference is significant.
The advantages of PVC are:

- Longevity (a hypalon float can last up to 25 years if properly maintained)
- Resistance to temperature extremes, ideal for tropical areas

If you want a boat that can be repaired easily, is more resistant to the elements and retains a strong resale price, the choice of Hypalon is to be favored.
Hypalon can last for many years if properly maintained with ORCA products (New magic / Shmuffex / Gumemp100).
The main criterion to remember when choosing your fabric is the length of your inflatable boat, but it's also preferable to reuse the same quality as the initial fabric (your dealer will be able to help you).
